Our name honors Francis Declan (1957-2003), a beloved husband, father, and grandfather whose 20-year battle with Type 2 diabetes profoundly shaped our family's commitment to compassionate, expert care. Francis's journey through the healthcare system—the triumphs, the setbacks, the frustrations, and the moments of genuine human connection—taught us an invaluable lesson: medical knowledge without compassion is incomplete, and compassion without medical expertise is insufficient.
